Julius Caesar: A Roman Road Theatrical Journey

JULIUS CAESAR: A ROMAN ROAD THEATRICAL JOURNEY
Following the path from republic to empire.
Presented by Will Kempe’s Players
** General Admission and VIP EXPERIENCE TICKETS AVAILABLE **

Date: Sunday, September 21, 2025
Show Time: 4:00 p.m. - approx. 6:00 p.m.
Starting Point: Murray’s Fools Distilling Co.
Ending Point: Wolf Hollow Brewing Co.

Join us for this year’s Trail Traveling Show with Will Kempe’s Players, as Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar comes alive in a bold, walkable performance that unfolds across three distinct locations.

This isn't just theater—it's a quest through time and terrain, inviting you to follow the drama through changing scenes and natural surroundings—blending the power of performance with the beauty of the outdoors.

STAGE I: Murray’s Fools Distilling Co.
Begin in the Republic’s shadow. Conspiracies stir and ambition crackles in the air as the drama takes root.

STAGE II: West Glenville Grain & Glass Trail – a ¼-mile wooded path. Follow the ancient Roman road (okay, it's actually a gorgeous wooded trail, but use your imagination!) as the drama explodes under the canopy of nature. Trees become columns of the Senate House, nature becomes your amphitheater, and you become part of the story.

Intermission
Pause mid-journey for cocktail specials, local beer, and snacks available for purchase—refuel and refresh before the storm breaks in Rome.

STAGE III: Wolf Hollow Brewing Company
The final act erupts as dusk falls. Reflect on power, honor, and fate at the edge of empire—then raise a glass as the stars begin to rise.

CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE

GENERAL ADMISSION - $35

Midnight Choir

Bluegrass endures because of bands like Midnight Choir that see limitless possibilities in the blending of mandolin, guitar, bass and voice. The twang and tenderness of the southern mountains whispers through the melodies of this new collection of original songs by upstate New York's Midnight Choir. Introducing melodic and playing techniques drawn from jazz, classical and global traditions, this is brilliantly arranged stringband music that stands out like a cool island in a sea of bluegrass that sometimes gets overheated.

Inspired by progressive players from David Grisman to David Grier, this three-man ensemble is an exciting new arrival in the Northeast roots music scene. With deep respect for each other’s playing, and a willingness to explore musical ideas together, the strong line-up features:

Jake Ali |  Mandolin

Jon Doll | Bass

Jeff Wasbes | Guitar / Vocals
